Experience Tai Chi with Elaine Waters

 My experience with Tai Chi  has lead me to respect this art as a powerful tool for  growth and  healing. Tai Chi cultivates the wisdom of the senses and develops mind -body connection.  Tai Chi practice develops one's abilty to connect to  the moment, thereby increasing the quality of life.  

 Unlike exercise regimes that pound the body and numb the mind, Tai Chi exercises the  mind and body as one. It teaches us to tap into our chi, or life force, and achieve harmony.

 In tai chi, softness overcomes hardness as moving waters can carve through rock.
 " Stand as Still as a Mountian; Move as a Great River"

The slow, soft, gentle movements of tai chi develop balance, relaxation,  alignment., flexibility, strength,  co-ordination, stability, and awareness. 
Tai chi has been recognized for its  numerous health benefits. Tai Chi uses movement to let go of tension.  Tai chi practice will clam the temper and clear the mind, strengthen the central nervous system, improve circulation, enhance joint flexibilty, open the compression of the spine, lower blood pressure, and naturally improve posture. 

Experience Tai Chi Classes with Elaine Waters! 

Elaine Waters instructs all tai chi classes with emphasis
on understanding movement principles,
called tai chi body mechanics.  
Weekly classes include yang style tai chi forms,
 tai chi  applications, and chi kung.
Advanced tai chi class includes: tai chi body mechanics,
form applications, learning the sword form sequence, 
and/or the two-person applications form,  tai chi push hands.
